Chapels of Rest We have caretakers resident in two houses at the chapels of rest in The Broadway, they are open from 8.30am-9.00pm every day of the year.
Our five chapels of rest are all tastefully furnished and are fully air conditioned. Fresh flowers are arranged in each chapel several times per week. |

Hillier Bereavement Care A Unique Service Offering Support and Guidance
Through the Difficult Time of Bereavement. Service Includes: - One to One Support - arranged to suit individual needs.
- Telephone Support - a helpline that is personally manned Monday to Friday 9.00-10.00am (other times answer machine).
- Groups - to help clients rebuild their lives through meeting with other bereaved people in a safe environment.

- Chats 'n' Lunch group - Fortnightly on Wednesday's, 9.30-1.00 at the Pilgrim Centre, Swindon.
- Friends Group (for the under 60's) every three weeks in alternating home venues.
- Men's Group - Monthly in alternating home venues.
- One Step - Rolling support group to explore further issues and ways forward after loss - every three weeks.
- Social Activities - A prepared and organised 6 monthly diary of events.
- Annual Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving.

The Hillier Funeral Plan The Traditional Plan - The Plan provides an economical funeral while allowing for most of the usual customs:
We offer guidance on the registration of the death. - Removal of the deceased from within twenty miles of our office, at any time of the day or night.
- Care of the deceased in accordance with the wishes of the family, as well as facilities for viewing at the Chapel of Rest.
- The supply of a veneered coffin with brassed handles, lining and gown set.
- Making all the arrangements and attending to the necessary paperwork.
- Providing a full compliment of staff for the funeral.
- Supply of a hearse and bearers, with one following limousine. The cortege can leave from a private address prior a service at a local church, if required, followed by committal at the local crematorium, churchyard or cemetery.
- Listing the floral tributes.
- Disbursement costs to cover the usual cremation and clergy fees, or a contribution towards burial costs, are included in this plan.

The Heritage Plan This provides all the features of a high quality funeral, with the following enhancements to the Traditional Plan: - The supply the best oak or mahogany veneered coffin with panelled top and sides, brassed handles and the finest interior gown and lining.
- Two following limousines are included rather than one.
The Basic Plan This is a more economical than the Traditional Plan, with the following variations: - Removal of the deceased is included from within fifteen miles of our office, during normal office hours.
- The supply of a simple coffin.
- Supply of a hearse and bearers to meet the family at the nearest crematorium or cemetery. No limousine or procession is included, and does not include a service in a church
