David and I met in 1958 when we started our military service in the RAF. We became good friends, even had service numbers one after the other. Both posted to Aden eventually, both typists. After our 2 years of service life, on returning to UK, I went to see David at his home. The door was opened by a very attractive young lady – Davids sister. We started dating, and Daviid always moaned that I was supposed to be seeing him, but seemed to prefer the company of his sister!! Gwyneth and I married in 1964 and have had a very happy life together, so thank you David, for being a good mate, and for having a wonderful sister. We will both miss you, and that always cheerful; voice on the telephone. Love from us both, and rest easy.
Rest in peace you will be sadly missed
