Thinking of everyone today celebrating Aunt Joyce’s 100 years life.
A memory I have is knowing when our mum had been speaking to her sisters, she’d come off the phone and have a much stronger Dorset accent. We would always know when they’d had a catch up. ‘Well I never’…
Another memory is at Graces 80th surprise birthday party. Mum was very happy and proud of Joyce and read out a poem she had written.
As we all know they had a very close bond the 3 of them and over the years shared a great deal. Happy and some very sad and challenging times. Their Christian faith meant everything to them and they held onto it in times of trouble but there was always lots of laughter and I particularly remember the laughter usually something aunt Grace had said!
May Aunt Joyce, your mum rest in eternal peace.
Be thinking g if everyone today and watching on-line
With love
Grace
