I have such wonderful childhood memories of staying with Auntie Sandra & Uncle Keith when they lived in Davenwood and then visiting them at their next family home in Elmswood Close. They were always so welcoming and so very pleased to see my brother Ashley and me, always offering us a meal and treats. They were both so lovely and caring, making me feel safe from the world.
This warmth continued all through Auntie Sandra’s life. Auntie Sandra always had a funny tale to share which would brighten up the dullest of days. The loss of Auntie Sandra is hard to accept. I will miss everything about her so very much. She will always remain in my thoughts.
All our love to Claire, Hilary and their families. You had a mum to be thoroughly proud of and worshiped!
Love Nina x

I can’t stop thinking about my younger sister Sandra. She was lovely right through to the core. I miss her so very much and will continue to do so for the rest of my days.
I am so very sorry Hilary and Claire for the loss of your very special mum. I am heartbroken, so goodness knows how you must be feeling.
All my love always, Auntie Jan x
My beloved sister Sandra. Remembering all the happy times we have had together. Sleep well my love. Rest in peace.

So many lovely memories with Sandra, especially in recent years taking the “Baird Girls” on little trips to France, Cornwall and Devon.
Much loved and sadly missed.
Our thoughts are with Claire, Hilary and the family.
When you and I were children,it was your job to take care of me,and l.m sure that was not an easy job for you,as I’m sure I was a terror !! And I never ever said thank you back then, and I wish I had . So to put the record straight, you did a GOOD job.and I’m glad you were there for me. And I hope there is someone taking care of you now !!
