Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Times like these words are hard. That was the most beautiful service. The final poem caught me by surprise. it was heartbreaking. I know Pete from Avebury. I am a volunteer too. Our Tuesday family, as I call it, is always laughing and Pete was always one of the ones that would come out with something that made us laugh. he was extremely caring to me personally during some sad times in my life. It will not be the same without him there but he will be there in spirit.
May I wish you peace, love and happy memories in the hours, days, weeks, months and years to come. Although tears of sadness and loss will flow, remember too that laughter brings the same tears so, remember to laugh often. Much love Cathy.
Raising a glass to the good times.
Peter was such a lovely, gentle man, as you well know. We were honoured to have him as a room guide at Avebury Manor (car share from Ray allowing!), visitors would echo this if they knew of his passing. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies to the family. We all know he was a good one.
Thinking of you at this sad time .
Love Val xx
