Passed away peacefully at Great Western Hospital on 4th May 2026, aged 82 years. Beloved husband of Maureen, loving father to Nick, Simon and Richard, stepfather to Steve and grandfather to Henry, Freddie and Nicky. Dick will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Si and all the Morans,
We were so sorry to hear the news about Dick and the shock of the sudden-ness must have been tough for you all.
He clearly was a force of nature with 82 good years – we knew of him as being a devoted husband and a valued father to his children and grandchildren – as well as being the funniest bloke you knew.
We’re thinking of you all at this time. Having met Dick at Si and Ciska’s wedding, he left an impression on us as an intelligent and thoughtful gent, leaving a positive, lasting memory on everyone he met. And, it seems, quite the lasting mark on the garage and power tool collection too!
Dick was clearly very loved and will be so very missed. Our deepest condolences.
