I worked with John in Hong Kong, 84-86. Really sad to hear of his passing, but given me the chance to remember that he was a really nice man and quite a character, who was liked by everyone who worked with him. My condolences to his family and friends. He has left you far too early, but you will always have, I’m sure, some great memories of his life. Personally, I’m glad to have known him for just a brief period of his life. RIP.
My condolences,
want to show my support this way, since i sadly won’t be able to watch the broadcast.
Wish you and your family all the strenght in the world to get trough this rough period.

Unfortunately, I never got the privilege to meet John. But having known your son Adrian for a while now and having listened to him speak so fondly about him and the rest of the family, I know if we had met, we would have got on well, shared a few laughs and had some great banter. RIP John.
So sorry for your loss Sylvia, sending you love and good wishes
