I saddened to hear of Karen’s loss.
I met Karen several times at Dog Scentwork trials and she was very welcoming when I was nervous.
You could see she loved her dogs and made sure they were happy, she didn’t take things too seriously and was relaxed. She always had a smile on her face and we had a few laughs to break the ice. I was happy to see Karen each time at these events as she was a really lovely person.
My thoughts are with Karen’s family at this very sad time. x

So sorry for your loss, Karen was an amazing woman who lit up our agility group with her good humor and laughter. A good friend and brilliant mentor.

We met through our common love of Belgian Shepherd Dogs and Karen was so kind and encouraging to us as new Terv owners. She had the patience of a saint, a smile that made your day, and she enjoyed everyone’s successes as much as her own. We trained with the same trainers and I was always impressed with her skill and empathy for her beautiful boys. She will be missed so much.

Barely a day has gone by where I haven’t seen you out walking the dogs over the last 5 years. Me and mum would stop and have a good catch up with you every time we passed. You were always such a happy person and full of life. It will never be the same not seeing you everyday. I hope you are in heaven having a good catch up with mum. Fly high beautiful lady.

Karen was always out walking her dogs and every time we saw her she would always say hello and stop for a chat and give advise when our little puppy was poorly – she always had a smile on her face and I can’t believe we won’t see her pass by our window every day or talk to her on our walks – Rest in Peace lovely lady

I knew Karen well in the 1980’s. I’m so pleased we found each other again 15 years or so ago. Loved her sense of fun and wit. May she rest in peace.

We were lucky enough to know Karen for the past nine years. Ever since we added our first dog to our family, she has been a familiar happy face on our daily walks. She was always there to give me advice on anything dog related and my girls and I grew very fond of her. She will be greatly missed by all dog walkers around Peatmoor Lagoon.
    Our condolences to her family.

Karen was a good friend to us and we were extremely saddened to hear of her passing. Over the last 9 or so years we have seen her practically every day when out dog walking. She was always ready to chat about anything and everything and gave advice about any worries we may have had regarding our two schnauzers. Rest in peace lovely lady we will miss you xx
