Penny Lake

In loving memory of Penny who passed away on 13th June 2021, with her husband Stephen by her side. As many of you will know Penny fought a long and brave battle with cancer for over 8 years, surpassing all medical predictions and expectations. Against the odds she battled to see the birth of her two grandchildren, Leo and Lexi, and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage to Stephen in July this year. Notwithstanding her work, family and social commitments, Penny was an active charity fundraiser, first for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, to which she lost her son Simon in 2000, and in latter years for Prospect Hospice, who have cared for her and for Stephen with such compassion and empathy during these last few years. She would like nothing better than to see some money raised for these two worthwhile causes in her memory. She was an incredible Wife, Mum, Nanna, and friend and will be so dearly missed.
