In memory of Ian Miller.
For almost sixty years we developed a very special relationship which became ever stronger as time went by.
We thank you for sharing so many precious moments with us and members of our family.
We will treasure your memory forever.
With love,
Margaret and Keith
A colleague and a friend for 40 years. He will be sorely missed.
I was very sorry to read about Ian Miller’s passing, via the Facebook group Park Grammar School – Swindon, where former pupils of his have shared their good memories of Ian as a teacher and expressed their sympathy. It was very good to meet up again with Ian and Gillian at the school reunion in September 2018. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Gillian and their family.
I shall miss our occasional chats on skype about the Millers and the family tree.
remembering Ian with love
With fond memories of a great teacher at Park Grammar, who inspired my love for geography which I enjoy to this day.
My condolences to Mrs Miller and family.
Our two families enjoyed some memorable moments during our brief spell of living in Highworth in the 80s.
The ties have continued ever since: and we all have some great memories to look back on.
We shall miss Ian, not only as a great European in Twinning, but as a friend.
Ian was such a lovely man, kind and generous. We feel privileged to have known him and count him and Gillian as friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him .
I met Ian again 44 years after he taught me at Park Grammar School. In 2010, I was approached by him and Gill in connection with Highworth History Society, which they helped run. My husband and I met Ian and Gill several times and admired Ian as a talented artist as well as a marvellous human being. We felt deep respect for him. May he rest in peace.

Fond memories of Ian when visiting his parents in Sherborne when a child ,and much later on their visit to Julia and myself in Hong Kong. Recently we’ve been in contact regarding the family tree which has been of great interest to us.
We were very sad to hear of Ian’s passing. He has been a family friend for over 70 years and he will be sorely missed.
With love from us all.
Some of my earliest and fondest memories are spending time with Ian, Gillian, Malcolm and Andrew.
Our deepest condolences to you all.

Gillian and family
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. With thanks to Ian for all of the good times together, for his wonderful ‘Miller’ paintings and for the pleasure of his great company and kindness – a wonderful friend to The Kennedy’s .
Many very happy family memories of times enjoyed together.
Ann, Ian and Chris
Please accept our deepest sympathies to all of Ian’s family on this of all days.
Ian was such a lovely person and will be very much missed by all those who knew him in the community as well as his family.
Thinking of you all,
Helen and Jim Harris
Ian was a kind, sincere, and thoughtful friend and someone of absolute integrity. He was liked and respected in equal measure. A Gentleman in every way and we, and Highworth, will miss him very much.
Our lives have been much enriched by having Ian and Gillian as friends and Ian will be greatly missed for many reasons,
not least because he was a thoroughly nice person who we feel privileged to have shared a long friendship with.
With love
Robin & Bobbie
I have many happy memories of Ian as a caring colleague particularly sharing a geography teaching room. His sharp sense of humour was a delight to behold!
Best wishes to Gillian and the boys.
Our condolences, love and prayers.
Very sad to hear of Ian’s passing from Archie. Remember carefree days as children of Ian’s visits to our farm and also of time spent at Tor House. Having emigrated to Australia in 1985 sadly lost touch. Condolences to Gillian and family
