I was so sad to hear of your mums passing. I’ve not been able to go society agm’s for a while now, but was so glad your mum was at the last one I was at we had a lovely chat, remembering our days together in Stevenage, and Lady Hoares house and the hall at St. John’s where the lovely jack yendell did all the catering – I have never tasted any better food anywhere else. Your mum and I had a good laugh about our little holidays at Four Winds in Pevensey Bay, run by the lovely Jack and Margaret Yendell. Your mum and dad were such a lovely couple and I think I can safely say they were amongst one of the top ten very popular parents with everybody within the thalidomide community. Your loss is our loss too. Take care. With kindest regards Fiona & Steve.
To Ed, Susan, and all the family, Beatie will never be forgotten by her Thalidomide family. Rest in peace Beatie, you are now with your wonderful husband Ted, you are both very much missed. (((((HUGS))))))) to you all xx
