Update 24th March

Following the Prime Ministers televised address, we welcome the news that funeral services can still go ahead. However, we still need to ensure that we follow the guidelines regarding social distancing.

As of Tuesday 24th March 2020, the following has been implemented to ensure we follow the government’s advice;

  • Limousine Hire has been suspended for all funerals
  • Family will be asked to wait outside the chapel, until the coffin has been taken in and the funeral team have left the chapel
  • Family only to attend the funeral service (Maximum of 20)
  • Chapel visits will be limited to two people per visit, an appointment will need to be made
  • We advise that the date and time of the funeral service are not published with the obituary notice

We understand that the restrictions in place may be distressing, therefore the below can be offered

  • Webcast of the service
  • DVD or USB recording of the service

Please speak to your funeral arranger or Funeral Director to discuss this.

All at Hillier’s thank you for your support and cooperation during this time and we will continue to help and support you through the loss of your loved one.
