Chris Rogers was the linchpin of SATA for so many years. Always there to help and make sure everything worked properly form the website to the annual meetings. I very much enjoyed working with him. He will be sorely missed.
Chris showed overwhelming support, passion and personal commitment to spread awareness of OSA, help people understand the condition get diagnosed , treated and managed to improve peoples quality of life. His boundless enthusiasm and energy was amazing and he always recognised that he could only do what he did with with the support of his family. Your sense of loss at his passing must be so great and I hope you can take some small comfort at the positive impact he had for so many people and their families.
Chris was incredibly committed to people with OSA and was passionate about trying to improve all aspects of their care. On a personal note, he was always supportive of my work as a researcher in OSA, and he was willing to help in any way he could to promote research in the field. He always found the time to talk and was kind and generous. He will be sorely missed by those involved in OSA, by SATA, and by me personally.
