Chris was a truly dedicated Group Scout Leader who gave so much to the group and everyone in it. I had the privilege of knowing him for the past 5+ years, and in that time his commitment, warmth and steady presence made a real difference to so many young people and leaders alike.
He will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him.

My deepest condolences to Chris’s family. We shared some good memories at Scouts together back in the day and it was a real shock to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful guy; driven, hardworking, charitable, he brought out the best in others. His passing is a terrible shame.
Chris made such a difference to my daughters’ lives. I will always be thankful to him for the gift of scouting that he gave them and the example he was to them of how to live a good life.
He was taken far too soon.
