In memory of a well thoght of non-league friend, will miss the banter mate.
David made so many work days better – funny, charming, understanding, clever, brilliant with staff, tutors and our lovely learners alike.
It was a pleasure to work with you. We always shared a laugh, no matter the situation. The best was always when I asked you to help me with jobs outside of your job description and you’d always ask me if that sat under the title ‘any other reasonable duties!’ – that always made us laugh so much… Well, Dave, I think I can safely say you have carried out all of your reasonable duties and far beyond anything anyone could have asked of you, and now it’s time to take a break and rest. Rest in peace xx
Myself and The South West Area of NAFAS members remember David with affection and a smile to the fun and enthusiasm he put into his demonstrations and workshops across the area and further afield. Our AGM Demonstration in 2019 paid a splendid tribute to David which moved us all. A friend sadly missed by all, rest in peace.
