Irma Leach
30th April 1931 - 19th April 2020.Irma passed away peacefully at Fitzwarren Care Home on 19th April 2020 aged 88 years. Much loved Wife of Len (deceased) and loving Mother of Brigitte, Susanne and Michael. She was a wonderful Grandmother to Brandon, Kristian, Kai and Lauren.Irma will be greatly missed by all her extended family and friends. She was a very caring person who loved to live life to the full. Our heartfelt thanks to all Fitzwarren staff, past and present, who have cared for Irma over the last 2 years. Owing to the current situation a private funeral for immediate family will be held on Monday 11th May, at Kingsdown Crematorium. Donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated for Alzheimer's Research (UK) to support their endeavours in helping to find a cure.
Many happy memories from my childhood and all the way through the years. The Haribo sweets I remember when being at 52 Woodside, the swing seat in the perfectly maintained garden, the super fit walks in later life to the Marriott for swims, and the keeping you in check Sanno with a good firm word when needed. Balanced with her lovely caring nature. I still remember the day of the bike accident and the hard journey through to carry on and live a wonderful life thereafter.
Will always be remembered with real fondness. R.I.P. Irma (still remembered from childhood as Mrs Leach though). XXXX
