Mum, your family meant more to you than anything in the world. Our lives seem empty without you now. You were always there for us listening, caring, supporting and just being you. We couldn’t have wished for a better Mother in any way. You will be greatly missed by all the Trueman family. Love you so much now and forever. Rest in Peace.

    My Mum,
Food for all, 7 or 70, inside (the Falconscroft Parties) or outside (the invasions of Lechlade), unflappable, tea on the brew, protect the trifle.
Wednesday evening ironing chats, the secret driving test, letters written to and from Zambia, Namibia and South Africa.
Felicity’s first UK visit at Christmas, my wedding in the bush (hats all round), the six Henley, laugh a minute, honeymoon in South Africa, seeing your first elephant at Pundamila, BBQs in the bush with monkeys and lizards.
Your first Granddaughter gabbling down the phone 2 continents away, your visit to South Africa to christen your second granddaughter, The 2 mother in laws tour of the UK (Marina sends love).
25 years of phone calls from 3 continents, your visit to Oz with the steel cows, laughs in the vineyards, sleeping in the car over the vast distances.
I loved spoiling you in the Spanish hacienda, siesta over a good book, drinks and tapas in the square at Ayamonte.
Being entertained and spoilt by your granddaughters in their own home, good byes for Oz again, hugs down the phone, seeing your eyes in the sparkling Indian Ocean.
Love you Mum, memories keep it all real.
    Steve.

Grandma Jean, my Granny J. You were always such a sweet, caring soul. Your hugs, your laugh, your trifle and Cathedral City cheese sandwiches; you never disappointed.
It’s still difficult to comprehend that you’re no longer with us but, will always treasure the memories we made together. I will miss you dearly.
    All my love xx

Even though you were taken from us too soon I am thankful for all the great memories I have of you. From our caravan holidays to countless special christmases together there is too many to write down. I will always remember your kind and loving nature and always smiling face that always lit up the room. You will forever be a queen in my eyes and an inspiration to live life to the full! Love you forever x

Thinking of you all ❤️ Your lovely mum was a wonderful lady, I always used to laugh that she would cook dinner at luncheon club for the oldies and she was older than most there. I feel very privileged to have known such a beautiful soul inside and out xxx I know you’ll be missed but talked about often with the fondest of memories xxxx

We all loved Queen Jean, her fabulous sense of humour made the times with her very special. It was a privilege to have known her; if there were more Jean Henleys in the world, it would indeed be a better place. Rest in peace Jean, you will be missed very much xxxx

So many memories of Auntie Jean, holidays at the Henley house in Falconscroft, in the caravan at Minehead, hysterics at the Isle of Wight and Ramsgate. So unflappable, so caring and loving. Rest in Peace Auntie Jean, time to let someone else make the sandwiches. Love you xxxxxxx
