Knew John for only a few years and struck up more of a friendship recently. On chatting with John he always struck me as very caring and a good listener ( a good thing because I was often ranting )! His happy go lucky outlook and his constant cheerful demeanour always brightened my day when I saw him.

Such a sad day. John was one of my oldest friends and somebody I trusted completely. He leaves a void that cannot be filled. Bye John xx
