We advise car share where possible, bring a travel mug, camping chair, check the weather because it is a field, and most importantly a picture of Mel that is special to the person coming, we will pin these to her memory wall, which will later be put into a memorial book. We will come together for love, laughter, and treasured memories to be shared. Dress code is smart/casual with colour.

My Big Sister Mel – the one who would hold me in any way I needed, and carry me through this thing called life. Through tears, so much laughter, shortcuts to mischief and how to get out of trouble, getting me drunk for the first time, vetting my boyfriends, holding my children as if they were your own… the list could go on forever — and it will.
She was the sun that would brighten your world, and I am the moon that holds you in darkness. Together we could light up the world — and now it will feel very dark for a long time.
A part of me will be missing until we come together again, but I know you will be the first to meet me.
I know you are always with me — you beat in my heart, and I carry you in my veins.

I think of you often, Mel, and all the times you raised a smile from me and others around us with your infectious laugh and bright, beaming smile. You always made an impact, even during the brief time that I knew you and you will always be remembered.

Like others, I’ll miss her very much, and her amazing laugh and jokes (of course), and the fact she was always up for a laugh/party. Rest easy Mel, you deserve it xxx
