It`s short and sweet, but sincerely meant.
Although I haven`t worked with Roman on a regular basis, it has always been a pleasure to see him when we do.
After many years as colleagues, I have come to think of him as a friend and I am deeply saddened that he has passed so soon.

I have known Roman for many years remember when a young boy travelling on a bus with my mother I slipped and bang my head there was a soldier in uniform it was 1944 I asked my mother “Is that my Daddy” the soldier said “You are very brave you did not cry” he gave me some sweets “I replied soldiers don’t cry do they mummy” I have since learnt that soldiers do cry Romans Father was at the Battle of Monte Cassino likewise was my Father so it built a bond between us Roman would always have flowers that he collected from Ascot Racecourse and would place them on his mothers grave a Manager from Ascot sent me a card saying sorry to hear about the sad loss of Roman (The Lovable Rogue he will be sadly missed)

‘As Hot Cats Bristol Consultant I had many dealings with Roman over many years either on the end of the phone offering him work assignments – which sometimes was last minute on the day call – or working with him as part of the Hot Cats Team at Newbury Racecourse & Badminton Horse Trials.

I recall as ‘duty consultant’ on race days at Newbury & having to wait for the last temp to finish to ensure nobody was left behind on site. I could always guarantee Roman who worked in the hospitality suites would be the last temp to finish, this was not only due to his professionalism looking after the guests but ensuring he got all his many tips!
I headed up a large Hot Cats front of house hospitality team for our client at Badminton for 5 years looking after Mitsubishi’s (the main event sponsors guests). Roman was always one of my first picks to be part of the team, he was the ultimate professional during lunch service with attention to detail, & I always gave him the high-profile guests tables including high profile celebrities, having every confidence I wouldn’t have to go behind & check on Roman.
    R.I.P Roman.

I knew Roman for approx. 30 years, through working in the hospitality sector at Swindon Leisure sites, and in various roles. Roman was very reliable, dedicated and fun chap to work with. He will be very much missed by all. Roman was very well thought of by many hospitality venues in the area.
    Rest in peace.

Roman was a guiding light when i first worked at Hot Cats, Roman showing me the ropes and offering wise words. The thing i recall most is he would always stop and a chat whenever I saw him; a friendly smile, a genuine conversation and humorous too.
Sleep well and rest in peace.
