Very sorry to hear that my old boss has passed away. I have fond memories of working in all three of his jewellery shops. He would bring in home made pasties and heavy cake from Mrs Iles, fetch lovely blue cheese or beef rolls from the CO OP canteen…we had the odd football trip and evening pint or two with his friend George…. really good days…. a man I held in great esteem…

Condolences and best wishes to his family

    Rest in peace

    John

Having known Stan for nearly 45 years he was always a true gentleman.
He treated me with kindness, friendship and respect from the day we met at Shrivenham Rifle Club.
Alison treasures the jewellery we bought at the shop, not least her engagement and wedding rings of course, and we both have special memories of the shop which had Stans unique stamp.
We are grateful that he was a part of our lives.
