Unattended Funerals

A funeral service isn’t always necessary to say your goodbyes. At Hillier Funeral Service we offer an unattended cremation service, cremating the deceased without any ceremony. We’ll make all the relevant arrangements; our service includes everything needed to give the deceased a dignified cremation in an affordable, low-key manner.

What is Included

• A safe resting place for your loved one before and until the special date
• Advice on registration by our experienced team
• Removal of the deceased from anywhere within a ten mile radius of our premises. We are of course happy to travel further but an additional cost may apply.
• A simple veneered elm coffin
• Transport of the deceased to a local crematorium via a hearse
• Collection and safekeeping of cremated remains for up to three months (if required)

The cremation process is undertaken at one of our local crematoria. Although they don’t allow attendance, we will notify you of the date and time.
